20th anniversary of the RNA Microsymposium

17 Jun 2026

The 2026 Microsymposium on RNA Biology took place from 17-19th June at the Vienna BioCenter. RNA-loving scientists gathered to discuss exciting new discoveries in transcription, splicing, decay, translation and many other mechanisms related to RNA biology. This edition was particularly special as the Microsymposium celebrated its 20th anniversary: bringing researchers together since 2005! Several members of the Pauli lab had the opportunity to share their latest work with a talk by Josef and posters by Ida, Amy and Annaelle (a first for Annaelle!), making it a very enriching and inspiring few days for the lab. It was an RNA-mazing experience, and we look forward to next year’s symposium!
