Laura starts her own lab at the IMB in Mainz

From IMP to IMB - the Pauli lab has its first ‘offspring’!

On 1st of February 2026 the Lorenzo-Orts lab opened its doors at the IMB in Mainz in Germany, led by our (now former) postdoc Laura. The Lorenzo-Orts lab investigates how maternal mRNAs are regulated and activated during embryogensis, using both in vivo and in vitro approaches.

We are super excited to find out what Laura will discover with her lab in the future, and wish her the very best for a great start into independence!
